So many beautiful sunsets lately so, with what looked like a dandy, off we went. Left Skwentna (SKW) in the northwestern Susitna valley and soon encountered something provided by Mr Rex.
No matter which direction we turned, conditions were less than peachy keen.
Was looking more like a forest fire than a sunset so we returned to base.
Our original plan was something like this.

Love the first two.
But are you sure you did not take a side trip through hell?
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

REX is a real asset, as is most everything else ending in X, but most of the slightly overblown color is courtesy of Photo Elements 7 - any program with a histiogram for levels will do the same.
