A question for those who know more than me - you know who you are
. My screenshot grabber program is always an afterthought - usually after a long wait for scenery etc files to load. Would it be feasible, with little chance of a screw-up, to arrange a simultaneous execute of both the grabber and FSX - like installing/attaching the Grabber.exe to FSX.exe sort of like REX executes when you start FSX?

What screen-shot capture software are you using? With FSX all you have to do is hit the V key at any time on the fly or when paused to take a screen-shot. They go directly to your My Pictures/Flight Simulator X Files folder. Thats not possible with FS2004. With FS2004 I use the Screen Hunter software that you can assign any keyboard key to do the same. Then just create a destination folder to store them in. Pretty simple and easy to use. Here is a link.

I think you can do it by writing a batch file (using windows editor for example). I am no expert at this, but I think you can find a lot of instructions when you search in google.

As Bob pointed out, the beauty of FSX is that it has its own multiple screen-grab feature. For the first time in the history of MSFS there is no need to use 3rd party screen-grab software for taking more than one screenshot per session. Pressing the V key will automatically save the shots in BMP format to your
My Pictures\Flight Simulator X File
s folder. (The location might depend on your OS.) You can then open them in your favourite graphics editor to resize/save in JPEG format for posting on the forum.
BMP images tend to be large files so if you take a lot of screenshots it's a good idea to have the occasional clearout.

Gentlemen, thanks. As I said in another thread, "he never read the instructions" will be carved on my grave stone. Hagar, I've been clinging to the Mgrab program you recommended over a year ago, for FS9, thinking FSX was also a default single shot. Each day reveals new things - perhaps, by the end, I'll know it all
.

I'm not sure it's in the instructions. Can't remember where I first saw it mentioned now. I think this feature is one of the better-kept secrets of FSX.
