In 1944 the A-26B, the replacement for the A-20, was put into the field in the Pacific and the European theatres with the 5th and 9th air forces. 

She was not well-received by the 5th, and played an extremely small part in combat action there, serving in a mix of A-20s with the Grim Reapers.  She suffered from poor visibility from the cockpit....claimed the Reapers. 

However, the 9th couldn't get enough of the 26s, and complained about the lack of C model (Glass Nose) availability.  The C was not to be had and many, many 26B solid nose planes accounted for over 18,000 sorties in the European theatre. 

Sooooooooooo, we're thinking that the fine little Fox Four B-26B (Korean War designation for the A-26) of Korean War fame might make a good candidate for conversion to WWII. 

The crew has already started work over at hangar six.

She's almost ready for release....barring a the AEU (Aero-Elves Union), Local 26 going out on strike. 

She's uploaded......and should be available tomorrow morning. 

   I see that you fixed the anti-glare panel glitch!  Very nice!   Now that it's installed, I remember what the glitch was - mirrored textures.  Good job!!
