I just received notification on my Blackberry that the Olympic Committee is revoking American downhill skier Lindsey Vonn's gold medal.
The press quote, "Olympic Committee's decision to give the Gold Medal to Barack Obama is justified because Obama is going downhill much faster."
Not the place.

Apologies. There is nothing political about the Olympics.

Great game, last 60 seconds literally had me on the edge of this sofa...
...like I said, it'll be close, and by the looks of it, the Canadians will be going into the finals sore.

Are you on glue??? They have already played half a season of physical NHL hockey.... I don't think the last 6 games in the Olympics have made them any more sore than they already were. They're hockey players.... they can take hits.

I'm hoping Canada takes it. They got Luongo in net who's been pretty solid so far since taking over for Broduer... that idiot. Both the German game and the Russian game were dominating from a score stand-point. Not too sure what doesn't look dominating from a 7-3 win, but when you also consider the fact that Canada hasn't beaten the Russians in something stupid like 50 years at the Olympic level... I think that's a pretty dominating score. I mean, all three goals were short handed, and they had opportunities for more short handed goals, but that's all they could work was short handed stuff. Canada got a little sloppy against the Slovaks and they started to come back, they played the Slovaks like they played the US the first time, the only difference is the American goalie is a lot better than the Slovak goalie. I don't think it'll be a dominating performance by either team, but I'm hoping Canada prevails, they certainly have the ability to do so. Also, everyone keeps going on about the US having the most medals... Canada has the most golds... we're the best at the most disciplines.

Didn't see it, but how about the US! 17 medals, leading in all medal categories, and still more to come!
Before today's hockey game...........how's your gold medal count now?
Gold Silver Bronze Total
1. United States 9 14 13 36

I will say that Canada has made a strong comeback, but we are going to get one more gold before the day is out.
