Only Moderators and Admins can modify your post, as we have the very password protection you have suggested, which prevents other members from altering your posts.

Thread 'stealing' or 'hijacking' occurs frequently, as forums such as ours are a rather dynamic place, and the ebb and flow of many different opinions from many different nations is rather quite hard to predict, so we more or less just go with the flow of the conversation at times, rather than just ruthlessly sticking to topic at all times.

If a thread is going downhill fast, sometimes, a Moderator may step in and 'lighten the mood' a little. 

Some posts may be removed or locked, if they contain touchy subjects such as -religion, -politics, and certain other hot button issues that spark off flame wars. This is an international forum, so one person's beliefs are not always shared by others on these hot subjects, so we prefer to leave those sort of discussions for more appropriate places on the Internet.

1st this is not a serious complaint --- simply explained by Shane above.

2nd I have deleted your poll posting as it was absolutely pointless, hard to understand what it was about and not relevant to this forum.

We have to get on with constructive and positive postings.
