Here are some pictures of a new repaint I just completed. It's the Default FSX Boeing 737-800 repainted in the livery of the FS2004 Boeing 737-400 in American Pacific colors. Now you may be asking one of two questions:
1. Why would you paint the default 737?
2. Why would you repaint such a hideous livery?
For me, the default 737 is great. It is one of the many airliners I have that has stayed in my hanger and is super easy to fly. The FS2004 737 was pretty ugly and badly modeled. I wanted to see what one of the famous fictional paints would look like on a great plane. And I kind of like the paint. Maybe some of you flight simmers that switched to FSX from FS2004 missed a few of the repaints. (Most likely you didn't!) I want to try to recreate some of the popular ones that I've seen in many screenshots for those that wish to fly them. Once I have completed all of the 737s from FS2004, I will probably upload them as a package. Thoughts? This a bad idea because everyone hates the default repaints?
