Hey all

I have been flying around Australia lately and I was wondering if there was any special places to go. I know FSX has placed little scenery gems all over the world. I have tended to stick close to home (YYVR) but I am picking an area in the world and flying around it. Currently I am flying a nicely painted Qantas 737-800 but moving to a smaller plane would be nice to tour around special places.

Not from Australia, but I think there's a big rock somewhere in the middle of a desert that might be worth checking out... Grin

You mean Ayers rock.  Grin

Real descriptive!!!  Wink

One time I was showing my friend FSX and I accidently went to some place in South-East Australia that had a big fountain.

Maybe I'm just dreaming things, but I was wondering if anyone knew where that was.

I think you are refering to Canberra, I think I spelled that right. Wink It's pretty neat in FTX.

Don't have FTX, does it show up in default?

Have to look that up, is that the name of the city?
What is the nearest airport?

Thanks!

If you haven't looked it up yet it is the city and airport name. Not sure about default. Here it is in FTX.

Technically speaking it's not supposed to be called Ayers rock anymore, they have now adopted the local Aboriginal name for it: Uluru.  Grin But everyone still knows it as Ayers rock Smiley
