Hey,
has anyone experiance with the program called Image Resizer? Sounds nice to be able to resize multiple pics with one operation - can't try it though cause I'm on my lil eeePC atm...

I just tried it. It's a very basic tool. Works well enough but will only save in the original format of the image. If it's BMP it wil save as BMP. There is no way to adjust compression of JPEG images. Not sure I see what it could be used for.

Thanks, maybe I'll give it a try when I'm at home...
Though if you have to change the filetype in another way it's quite useless, since you have to open each pic to do so.

Also note that it's compatible with XP only.
Here's the UI.

That's why I couldn't use it on my eeePC (running Win7 atm for test-issues
)
Well, maybe I'll keep the link for future problems...

I have no experiance with it since I'm doing my resizing with PS elements (but one by one)... Would be worth a try since it's a pretty neat programm from what I've heard here in the forums.

IrfanView will batch convert or rename files. I don't think it will batch resize. You might like to try BD Sizer which will batch resize images & save them in JPEG format. It's also possible to set the upper file size limit of the saved images.. Very handy for uploading images to the Web.

Well that sounds good, too!

Sorry machineman. There is a batch resize option in IrfanView. Took me a while to find it.

I wasn't too sure as I haven't used the batch feature for a while. The last time I used it I'm sure I was able to process about 100 photos, scale them down and compress them.
Batch processing is lovely!
