Please tell me where you like to fly to most on FS2002?  And also perhaps why you haven't chose to use FS9 or FSX?

Thank You,

MIKE

Mike,

The majority of my flying has been around Colorado. I did one XC to Oshkosh and back just to see if I could navigate in the air.

F-14... some of us don't have the system to run FS9 or FSX very well. I know us FS8 users are in the Stone Age compared to the majority of the members, but hey... we still have fun, and that's what it's all about, right?

Have a good one!

They hog the memory and I'm usually using other programs at the same time; FS8 is also more compatible with CFS(2).

Cool

Cities: Los Angeles, San Francisco, NYC, Miami (I live here) & the Florida Keys, London, Las Vegas, Wash DC.  Y'know, the usual biggies.  And Rio, like I said.

Grand Canyon.  Lake Michigan.  St Lawrence Seaway.

New Zealand.  There's a really cool gorge on the N island, take off from the northern tip of the S island and look around, I forget exactly where, but it opens up to the strait and is findable.

I also use FS2004, but FS2002 performs better with my 2003 computer system.  FS2004 does have that bridge upgrade tho, and the NY and SF bridges come out pretty good with it.

Ever since Flight Unlimited II by Looking Glass, in 1998, I have "flown" daily all around California, from North to South, and East to West, in FS' 98, FS 2000, FS 2002, FS 2004 (and FSX)... Smiley...!

The journey from Eureka in the North, via San Francisco and Los Angeles, to San Diego in the South, following the Pacific Coastal route above Highway 1, (and Highway 101), encompasses some amazing scenery on the way, and is well worth a visit....

...or even a REAL Holiday!

I mostly use FS2002 because I like the outside view of the aircraft better.  When you're taking off the view doesn't slide so you're looking at the bottom of your plane not knowing how steep you're climbing.  For some reason the views aren't exactly the same in FS2002 as they are in FS9 or FSX.  Could never figure out why.

Does anyone know if the Rainforests show up in FS2002?  Or any other detailed geographical locations fun to fly to? (Excluding Hawaii and Grand Canyon)
