Brand new scenery-itis.  This is the west entrance to Rainy Pass, through the Alaska Range.  The pass summit is 3700 ft so the weather has to be fairly decent.                                                    This is further along towards the east end.  The wider area is named Ptarmigan Pass.  That's Puntilla Lake, an Iditarod checkpoint, normally frozen at this time of year.                                                    Beautiful downtown Anchorage in the summertime.
