The Real Bird:The French-built Falcon 50 is a mid-sized business jet. The first prototype flew on 7 November 1976, with French airworthiness certification on 27 February 1979, followed by US Federal Aviation Administration certification on 7 March 1979.
* Maximum speed: Mach 0.86
* Cruise speed: Mach 0.82

* Service ceiling: 14,935 m (49,000 ft)
The last Falcon 50 variant, the Falcon 50EX was delivered in 2008. Dassault has now focused their efforts on it's successors, the Falcon 7X, and the Falcon 900. In the tri-jet lineup of Dassault's aircraft, the 50 is the smallest.
Currently, the 50 (either normal or EX versions) can still be see extensively across the world. It is a popular VIP aircraft for government organizations, and of course many civilian companies as well.
The 50 and it's successors continue to be sought out today due to their unique look, and Dassault quality. (Dassault also is responsible for certain combat aircraft).
I have heard some operators state that they believe the tri-jet configuration, along with the tall t-tail, give the Falcon 50 and it's successors a perhaps more noble, proud looking stance on the ramp when compared to the increasingly generic looking business jets out there, and they always seem to stand out and attract attention at whatever airfield they are gracing.
Beyond the many civilian operators across the globe, governments that currently use the Falcon 50 include Switzerland, France, Portugal, Italy, Iran, Morocco, South Africa, Venezuela, and Spain.
The Flight Simulator Version:Originally made for FS2002, updated and works great with FS2004.

A thorough search of all major FS file libraries in both the FS2004 and FS2002 repaints sections should provide you with a multitude of real and fictional liveries for the Falcon 50.
Most 2002 liveries need the addition of Alpha Channel so they display much better in 2004. One can extract the Alpha from a Swiss Air Force addon livery and place it in older liveries using DXTBmp to accomplish this.
If not undertaken, some repaints may look poor, the model will lack shine, and 2002-era modeling errors will become apparent. The addition of Alpha actually very nearly removes some unsightly modeling component and texture shading errors that may appear without it.
Also take note that the air intake area in the aircraft.cfg needs to be changed from 4.4 to 1.4.
Continuing, the "L" key must be hit to show the pilots in the cockpit. All lights except the taxi and landing lights must be on for the pilots to be shown. I personally replaced the strobes with a second nav light point of the appropriate color on the wing.
Finally, one may wish to bump up the VC gauge resolution in the (non-clickable) VC to 1280x1280 in the panel.cfg.
Oh, and as a nice little not-needing-adjustment bonus, when the engines/systems are off, you get nicely modeled pitot-tube covers, engine covers, and a power cart. This, along with a fully modeled cabin keeps this Falcon in a competitive stance against other addons in 2004.
I know, that is a lot of time and adjustments, but trust me, it is WORTH IT!
With the proper treatment, this Falcon 50 really holds its own in FS2004.
If anybody has any questions or needs any assistance with this addon, let me know either here or through a PM.
EDIT for link update: The referenced link in the aircraft wanted section no longer works. We have the original 2002, non-updated version in the library, but for the fully updated one, this is the proper exe file.

highly suggest saving this file somewhere safe in case this one goes down too. The 2004 update package is hard to find.
