It is the Windows ported version of that game. They look similar because they are pretty much the same game throughout.

In short you're better off getting a copy of IL-2, which costs very little these days, and was made for PC.

I just downloaded the demo and I am rather impressed. It ran quite smooth on my somewhat older computer and it's quite fun. Thumbs up from me too. Give it a try: http://www.gamershell.com/download_54548.shtml
