A silver 2009 Brawn. So this is what (Brawn*) Mercedes (Ilmor) GP Petronas F1 will look like...

...and poor Rosberg, back as being a number two!

*Tyrell/(Reynard)/BAR/Honda! Grin

rosberg drives car first, gets first full day and has been promised full equal status. only way that changes is when one driver becomes clear title contender. I would believe that, Brawn did it with Jens and Rubens this year no reason to change it.
I will put money on Schumi dominating Nico from an early point in the season.

Exactly my point. Poor chap. He'd have been better off at Williams. Grin

Mind you, he's got a chance of a win at MF1PGP. Smiley

Nico has to get that win in the first 4 races, I know schumi has raced at all these tracks, but he's going to take a few races to get back into the swing of things.
Schumi has apparently decided to stick with the red helmet, which I think will look great against the silver car.

So driving a Honda on his comeback then  Grin Grin

As for Rosberg getting equal status, not in a million years. Schumi will never play a supporting roll to anyone. It is either winning or ooh, ooh my neck hurts and bowing out.  Rosberg, Rubans, different names, same job description.......second fiddle. Brawn may say what he wants, but Mercedes are pulling the strings.

Matt

PS what sort of odds would I get on a fiver at the bookies that MS quites before the season is over Huh

I thought I was the only one thinking about that.

It has been a while, and he is getting up there in age, in a young persons sport.  Those G forces in those cars will certainly have to take a greater toll on him than most others, I would imagine.

I think that possibility depends on how well he does, and whether or not he decides it's better for his legacy to walk away on a good note to save face.

I'd have preferred him to go back to his original design ('cos you have to admit the red was a Ferrari orientated gimmick), but changing the white to a shade of silver. You could fit a nice Mercedes badge on the top too.
