Hey guys! Want to buy a new moniter, I just use it as a second monitor for my laptop when working at uni! Currently using a 20 inch Samsung Pebble but it has developed this wierd flickering issue and its really hurting my eyes!!

Not going to use it for gaming or anything like that. I am sadly doing a degree in Computer Science so spend a lot of time in front of it, and just want something nice and big!

Its between these two:

Any thoughts? The Samsung seems a bit to good to be true, and given pretty poor quality of my current monitor I am a little weary.  Ha, bit of a random post but this isnt a field I really know much about, so I thought I would check theres nothing important I am missing!

Help appreciated guys Smiley

2048x1152 is an odd resolution that I suspect may not be fully compatible with some programs. IMO, go with a 1920x1080 screen. That same screen did not have an DVI port, IMO, go for one which does.

Not sure which of these screens is actually better though.
