I've been thinking of getting one of the big photo editors, but I want to know which one is the best for repainting and screenshot editing. And not one of the $1,000+ editors, something like $50 please.

Photoshop off of eBay is your best bet.  It's slot better than the less expensive ones and I personally think the interface is more user friendly, especially if your a beginning painter. Wink

I've downloaded some trial versions of I think PSP and it runs really slow, is this something that would happen with Photoshop?

Me having 100s of plugins notice some slowing but it's still fast compared to psp Wink
