I reckon a lot of people have been asked this question; If you could spend the day with any famous person, who would it be?

For me, it would be Criss.

Why?

Well, check this out:

Tearing a woman in half

Human Candle

Elephant Trick

Card Tricks

Legend  Grin
(But a tad behind Derren Brown, lol)

Some of the tricks he does completely shock me as to how they are done, such as covering a woman on a deck chair in a large amount of cloth then making them disappear. I have my theories about the human candle one and there are a few others which I can guess the secrets too.

As with all people like this, I'd only fully believe it if I was there and played a key role in the trick. It is still good entertainment though.

He does some illusions that I can't explain. I enjoy his shows
because he comes up with so many new illusions weekly. And he does it all in front of live audiences. The one where he reached through plate glass and retreaved an item had me miffed!  Smiley

I've seen the trick where he walks through a glass window and I knew straight away how it was done, but he is usually extremely creative. I was hoping to get his shows on Sky TV but I am unable to find them anywhere.

My girlfriend and I went to his Vegas show last summer.  Most of the tricks I was able to spot pretty easily, even his floating.  Every time he levitated, he always had a jacket on, and after levitating his stage hands would help him remove the jacket, why? because the jacket was actually a harness.  I even spotted the wires a few times.  Like all magicians, most of it is acting, slight of hand, and distraction.
