I just uploaded a new version of the US Mk13 torpedo, the MK_XIII_Torp. Should be available tomorrow. Cool

This torpedo has the characteristics of those weapons field-modified with plywood nose and fin casings to protect the weapon from breaking-up on entry at high speeds. In short, instead of having to drop from 50' and 100kts, you can now drop at the same altitudes and speeds as the Japanese without worry. Smiley

What's interesting is that by the Truk raid in 1944 the Mk13 could be dropped from fairly high altitudes and airspeeds, and was actually used successfully in the only torpedo attack made in the Korean war. Wink

On 2 May 1951, Skyraiders made the only aerial torpedo attack of the war—successfully hitting the Communist-controlled Hwacheon Dam. They destroyed the flood gates after all other weapons had failed to do so. (The NKs had been flooding the Han river to prevent troop crossings.) Cheesy
