I've known way too many of these type of kids.  I once had a 16 yr old in his nice new Mustang GT that his parents bought him approach me and want to race for slips, while I was on my Ninja ZX-6.  I was laughing so hard I couldn't do it.

Either his parents did not love him and wanted him dead in a mangled Mustang as quickly as possible, or they had far more money than sense. Most probably the latter Huh

Yeah, he showed up at our club meet and wanted to race everyone.  Finally my buddy with a 500+ HP Mustang took him out and played with him.

And as Matt said, parents with more money than brains.

Thinking about it, you should have raced him for his pink slip. Then left him with the bus fare home and then done the honourable thing and taken the car and slip back to his parents with a small explanation of how you came by it  Grin
