Hello,
I got this for Christmas and have been playing it for a while. It is a bit hard to play on PC with the keyboard & Mouse but I can manage. I do have XBox and will probably be getting the XBox version as the XBox remote is obviously a better way to move around. Anyway...

I had asked for it from my wife as we usually get stocking stuffers and thought this might make a nice gift. Now she is a person who does not even understand my addiction and fascination with my Sim.. should have seen her face when I opened it. She was like, "what do you want that for..? I thought you like flying your airplanes around Alaska and now you want to go shoot people..." I had to laugh because she knows how much I like to fly my Sim and I think she was thinking I might finally be going psycho Wink

Anyway, I have a few questions to ask if you don't mind. First off, who here plays it?

Dave,

I received both the PC and the Xbox editions for Christmas this year. I don't have access to the PC version unless I am home during the weekends, but as of next week, I should have regular access (not online) to the Xbox version. (Forgot to bring it up to university with the rest of the Xbox stuff.)

Certainly an enjoyable game.

Xbox Live is amazing with Modern Warfare 2. Definitely one of the best games of all time. It is like a 7 out of 5 stars.

SO to answer your question, yes, I do.

We have to share our on-line names and email addresses. You then do a friends search via Steam in the private game menu. Once you have found who ever you are looking for, add them to your friends list and then when they are on-line send them an invitation to join a private game. I have done it a couple of times and I have to say it is very easy, but you have to decide who is going to host first otherwise it can get messy try to connect. One thing I do not know about is if PC and XBox can play together. Only one way to find out In suppose...

You cannot play PC and Xbox multiplayer together. Though they are both the internet, they use different server types, usually through the consoles, the console creators have their own independent servers. Microsoft, has its Xbox Live server, Sony has its Playstation Network server. Again, even though they use the internet, there is no way to tap into them and play PC vs console.

If this said group was for the 360, I would be interested.

I have the Xbox 360 version. Sadly, I am rather rubbish at it. I was much better at the first Modern Warfare.
