Wonderful Weather Today...NOT (Read 425 times)

They predicted 2-4 inches of snow for us today, 1-3 tonight, and 1-3 tomorrow afternoon.  Its 11:30am, we already have about 4.5 inches and not even halfway through this first system... Roll Eyes  Have to love the weatherman Smiley Plus its 20°F with a wind chill of 11°F.....not to bad, just a bit chilly Tongue  We have had a little snow this winter...but as usual we rarely get hit hard till January...this year proved no different...first REAL snow of the season Embarrassed

More pictures to come later as they are taken...standing on my front porch....broom in hand, gazing over at my new white truck, gazing down at the street that doesn't seem to exist, and preparing to get things cleared off and ready to take a quick drive around to see how the highways are...didn't look like much from this view point...but quickly realized with the first sweep of the walk just how much we had already...Test drive proved the highways don't exist either, not even the first plow has touched them, which might be somewhat good traction wise, just so you know where the road actually is Roll Eyes  Now its still snowing so hard visibility is down to about 100 feet, and I'm prepping for a long 20 mile drive south Undecided  Thinking country roads might be the best route...less idiots to worry about Roll Eyes  I have a feeling its going to be a long couple days of this.....I hate winter Smiley
...

Time to hit the road, if I can find them...more pictures to follow tonight Wink

It's supposed to snow here tonight and drop to 18° F. But nothing yet except a little rain and wind.

Noone beats me. MWAHAHAH

I'm not sure, but we seem to have about 17,7 inches of snow whereever that guy with the tractor that i'm too lazy to figure out what is in english right now hasn't been. Isn't that amazingly cool?

Also, our average temperature is -17 degrees celcius, also known as 1 Fahrenheit.

Lovely +4C here today and the golfers are showing up to play at 0830. Just another abnormal winter day here on the island. Normal is dreary and rain, but the temp is spot on avg.

Sorry........... Tongue
