Court overturns Briatore’s ban, FIA may appeal

I don't understand how the courts have any control or say  over the decisions that the FIA makes, or any other sports ruling body for that matter.  Huh

It is a French court, so hardly surprising.

So much for a chance at another French GP.

  Cheesy Wink

Who would ever work with those two now?

Maybe they'll start their own series, and kick off their season at Magny-Cours.  Grin

He wont be seen in f1 again.
This was just a personal thing to shove it to Max Mosley.
As for how the courts can get away with overturning it? The FIA essentially took away any possibility for Flavio to work again in his field of business. Which given the circumstances was perfectly acceptable. What wasn't was the way Max went about it.
It was a personal vendetta, Judge jury and executioner meant Flavio had no chance of a fair hearing, which is against EU laws on fair working practices or whatever you want to call it.
The fact that Mosley is an accomplished lawyer and thought he would get away with it is his own undoing.
As I said, no one in their right mind would hire him again, he could start his own team, but I would be very surprised if the FIA would grant him an entery.
The fact now Flav is going after the Piquets is quite amusing, and if I were him I would quit while i was ahead because the court didn't say he wasn't guilty of the cheating, just that the FIA had acted improperly in its action against him.
