yes there is something wrong with JEPPESEN, the place that FS gets its REAL WORLD WEATHER from.  It seems that they have not updated their flight servers now for like 1-2 weeks.

you are not the only person affected. EVERY Flight sim user..... FS9 or X is affected. Noone is getting the correct info.

I was just flying earlier in JAMAICA, and it set my weather to SEVERE SNOW, 30mph winds out of 150, 1-2 miles visibility, and like 30 degrees. ........ ITS JAMAICA!!!! as in Tropics? winter is still like high 70's!!!! yeah, there is something wrong.

Snow in Jamaica, now that is something you should have taken screenshots of. Grin

On second thought, have you actually got on the weather channel and checked? With the global changes taking place these days, anything is possible. Roll Eyes

One wonders if now that fs2004 is ancient, FSX is old, and Microsoft has pulled the plug on any FS11.....how long the "real world weather" server arrangement will be active. I'd guess something/someone has to "pay the bills".

I use ActiveSky..... so it does not affect me..... but for the default users...eventyally this might become an issue.

Anyone KNOW anything about this?

best,

...............john
