Even though I've had FSX for a while, I haven't ever had a computer powerful enough to run it until this past Christmas when my family got a new computer. Cheesy And since I haven't really been using FSX, I haven't been paying attention to all of the addons coming out as of late. So could everybody list their 10-20 most favorite FSX aircrafts/scenery/utilities addons Wink for me?

Please and thanks.

The following I have had continual use out of, and enjoy greatly:

Aerosoft Catalina (A must have for any FSX'er! Extremely detailed exterior/interior, accurate systems, complex engine management with finicky radials, all around top notch, you can't beat it!)

Aerosoft Dillingham (just purchased Megascenery X Hawaii to go with it, complements it nicely. PHDH is a nice quiet field on Oahu's north shore. Excellent and highly accurate scenery!)

Nemeth Designs EC-135 (they also have a BO-105, AS332, and MH-53 for FSX. A few small flaws, but still nice, and pretty much your only option for good FSX helicopter addons.)

Carenado Piper PA-34 Seneca II (You really can't go wrong with a Carenado plane. I would also recommend the Cessna 182RG, and keep your eyes open for the upcoming Cessna 185 Skywagon.)

FSDreamteam John F. Kennedy International (KJFK) (Keep on the lookout for Honolulu International coming very soon. Should make Oahu excellent if you get Dillingham and the Megascenery title.)

Anything recent by Tim "Piglet" Conrad for FSX. (Freeware. This includes his updated Soko J-20, FSX native A-29 Tucano, and recently released Antonov An-32, among others.)

FTX/OZx Blue "Tasmania" Demo. (I'm sure you've seen the FTX/OZx stuff. It is excellent, and may entice you to buy the full packages.)

(Random order)

1. Ivan's MIG-21 (http://www.simviation.com/simviation/?ID=64&page=24&mark=5476): the VC is 100% click-able; he could easily sell a slightly improved version.

2. JustFlight’s Cessna 152, free through FSInsider (http://www.justflight.com/microsoftc152.asp)

3. Dino's new F-14D, http://www.simviation.com/simviation/?ID=64&page=26&mark=6050 , this is the non-Acceleration ver.  Also, checkout the HQ sound set at the bottom of the page.

4. Most of the stuff at Nor-Cal Prop Club, http://www.freewebs.com/wreckerman/

5. But my favorite has to be POSKY's B777, this one being my favorite http://www.simviation.com/simviation/?ID=60&page=51&mark=5927

6. Premier Aircraft Design's C-130J (http://www.simviation.com/simviation/?ID=64&page=33&mark=7094), being the only freeware C-130 out there I love it

GA-Traffic for FSX. Wonderful program for making any GA size plane into a AI usable. Just make sure you convert it so it doesn't use the full model.
It is pretty simple to use and really adds a lot to the games traffic.

Nearly any plane in this list is pretty nice. Some are outstanding. I really like the little Mooney Mite, Howard 500 and Spartan Executive.

I vote for REX (Real Environment Extreme) as a must have addon. Ground scenery and planes are nice, I wouldn't take anything away from them, but REX changes the skies where all your flying will take place no matter what plane you get into or what part of the world you take off from. Their customer support is great too.

As for freeware aircraft, I like Thomas Ruth's work. They usually have working virtual cockpits. I have the AN 225, and 124, and his Airbus 340-200. There are others but I cant remember who made them at the moment.
