Selected aircraft with lasso tool; inverted selection; applied golden years black and white with OptikVerve Labs virtual Photographer.
Original shot

Thanks
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Nicely done Mr. P.
Have you tried to use the magnetic lasso, or magic wand?
Sometimes they are easier than trying to trace by hand.
cheers,
Joe
Don't argue with idiots, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Thanks.
I use it on occasion. But it would not work in this particular project.

Thanks. Yes, it does. But I've found out it is easier if you do a general area around the subject, then zoom in and do small areas one at a time by holding down shift or control, depending on whether you need to add area to or take it away from the original selection. For me, this is much easier and quicker than trying to do the whole aircraft at one time. Having a graphics tablet with a drawing pen helps too, a LOT! I could not do half the things I do if I had to do it with the mouse.
