Lights wrong direction (Read 307 times)

Ok,with the help of Brett and Felix,ive managed to add the lights. But now my landing lights illuminate backwards. Ive rotated the polygon for the lights, rotated the pivot point, but with no luck.. So if someone could help,it would be nice. Just for the record...the lights is added in gmax,not the aircraft cfg

Be sure it's a pure polygon (as in a one-sided plane, not a box).. and before attaching, be sure to center/transform/scale the pivot (hiearchy / affect pivot only), and THEN  rotate the pivot so that 'Y' is pointing where you want the light to "shine".

Thank you Brett, I found the problem..the light point in the direction of the object it is attached to. So in my case the tiny light material box is attached to the LANDING_LIGHT and thus,ive rotated the pivot point of the LANDING_LIGHT 180deg, and the problem was solved Smiley
