How exactly do I install the latest DirectX 9 (Read 209 times)

Hey guys,I've recently wanted to update my directx for FS9,so I downloaded the :

directx_aug2009_redist
which is a Win32 Cabinet Self-Extractor file.

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=04ac064b-00d1-474e-b7b1...

It asks me where I want to extract those files,so to test it out I just selected desktop,and I get a bunch of .rar files with different months for the dates etc?

Which rar is the one I should choose and where do you put it,in other words install it,really confused.

I should mention I'm using VISTA-32-BIT

Make a folder name "DirX" and put them together in there. Keep it handy, so you dont have to download again if you  need to reinstall FSX.

Amongst the rar-files there should be an installer somewhere, click that and off you go!
