It is a great idea, and one that should be embraced.
Unfortunately, it requires that members such as yourselves, invest the time & effort into creating these posts, just like in the beginning of the StudioV.
The practice was discontinued due to either lack of positive responses (even today, some will stop posting if no one ever responds to their posts
), or the fact that they ran out of good ideas, there are only so many tips & tricks to screen shots, and most are covered in the tutorial library, most members just don't ever bother to look at them.
The StudioV is an entirely "member driven" section of the forums. It has been clearly stated in the past, that if we don't keep it up, it
will go away.
That was my main reason for choosing to take the Moderator job when I did, Krigl was ready to give it up, and no one else wanted the StudioV job. If I had not taken it up, Pete was going to do away with it. Without members contributing, the StudioV is just a place where we have contests.
If anyone has any tips, or tricks, feel free to post them.
It is after all, your StudioV.
