Strange glitch, try the ol rewrite the "FSX cfg" trick! Make a backup copy of your orginial FSX cfg file and put it in a safe place! Than Delete the one in your FSX file, when you fire up the sim it will rewrite a new one, good luck!

Play with the anisotropic filtering and see if that helps.

first download the video card drivers (updated perfered)
second turn off/disable any fire wall software you are running
third install updated drivers
fourth restart machine
fith test
6th try the FSX cfg trick (in previous post)
7th if issue still exists reinstall FSX
8th if issue still persists update system and makesure service packs are installed as well as FSX service packs
9if that all fails you may be needing to reinstall windows

I don't think Jaime ment to say reinstall windows, hopefully he ment to say reinstall FSX, but you might be able to get away just using the FSX repair mode.

I used to have a really low end laptop that did this if FSX was running for more that 2 hrs.  I NEVER was able to fix the problem...  I just had to memorize the locations of the most commonly used items.  Nothing I ever used worked.  This was the same laptop that the wings of the 747 would flip 90 degrees forward on the body.  I have not since or ever will buy that cheap of a computer again.

Asus G71GX-RX05 from BestBuy.     2.53GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 (Very easily overclocked by 15%, 25% for xtreme live-or-die sessions),
6GB of 800MHz DDR2 RAM       1GB GDDR3 Nvidia GeForce GTX 260M     500GB 5400 RPM SATA-150 HDD, w/ 2nd drive bay.  All for only $1300!

THIS IS AWESOME!!!

...

Help stop this scum from infiltrating the games we know and love!
