It was mission 358 on May 19th 1944 over Berlin, when "Miss Donna Mae II" crossed paths with "Trudy" as she was dropping her bombs on Berlin. As "Miss Donna Mae II" crossed underneath "Trudy" the first of her 1000lbs bombs struck the left hand stabilizer causing her to to lose altitude and fall towards Earth. Many B-17's made it back to base with only one stabilizer but sadly "Miss Donna Mae II" did not, no parachutes were seen from the stricken ship as she went down.
Enjoy with respect to the crew of "Miss Donna Mae II"

As usual, great edit Leigh.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

why thank you.
as always with this sort of thing you need to imagine whats going on...there was only 4 shots taken above from "Trudy" so not much to work with.
same with the Flak i don know if there was any or not so i thought over Berlin there would be
But anyway thanks
