I know I might be the last person in the world to know about this because I am discovering new things every day! But I just met the Host of a Millitary AI freeware Scenery and AI website and I previewed the site and got Miramar "TOPGUN" Fighter town Scenery. Man It so much feels like the movie with all the tomcats scattered around the parking area. The AI F-14's have moving wings and afterburner effects! WICKED
Then every morning and evening "MAVERICK" gets on his bike and rides down the driveaway next to the runway path like in the movie!
This is one for "TOPGUN" fans we finally have a scenery to go crazy with the "TOPGUN" skin tomcats!

Did you use the installer? I d/l the Conningsby package & installed but nothing appeared in the Addon Scenery folder & my FS9 gets to 'loading scenery' & crashes. Searches haven't revealed any Conningsby & I can't find anything - no aircraft, nothing........

I just downloaded the package to check it out. As always I redirected the install path to a Temp folder to see what it contains. Here's a shot of my dummy FS9x directory after the files were extracted.
There's a file named Readme.mht in the "RAF Coningsby Readme" folder. This includes full instructions for installing the package. This extract possibly explains the reason for your problems.
Step 2) Remove duplicate AFCAD files
Open your “Flight Simulator 9/Addon Scenery/scenery” folder and remove any previously installed AFCADs for the following airports (e.g. “AF2_EXXX.bgl,” “AF2_EXXX_DEFAULT_XX.bgl” or “PAI_AF2_EXXX_DEFAULT.bgl”) NOTE: LEAVE ALL AFCADS BEGINNING WITH “MAIW” as they were installed with step 1. Look for any of the following airfields:
EGXC
LCRA
EGF1
EGX0
EGY1
EGY2
EGY5
EGY6
EGY7
EGY8
EGY9
EGZ1
EGZ9
K103
NOTE: Failure to remove these duplicate files may result in problems with AI aircraft parking and operation. It is recommended you move these to a temporary folder instead of deleting them, however, you should not need them again as the AFCADs included in this package are thoroughly researched and highly detailed. If you are using addon scenery for one of the above airfields, it is recommended you do NOT remove the AFCAD for the addon scenery, but instead remove the MAIW AFCAD file (e.g. MAIW_EXXX_DEFAULT_XX.bgl) after installation.
PS.

Yes - Coningsby!! That's my typo here.....
I did check for those Afcads & didn't expect to find them & in fact didn't, so no problem there. The strange thing is nothing appeared AS IT SHOULD have done in FS9 but it kept crashing.
I've done a system restore to 4 days ago & FS seems fine, like it usually was. I might do a manual installation...!
Thanks for your help/tips.

Gypsy, a manual install is your best bet. The installer will load the files to C:/Program Files/Microsoft Games/Flight Simulator 9
If that is not the path of your FS9 installation, it will not put the files in the correct place.
BTW, if you need further assistance, our support forums are the place to get the best help as I do not frequent the forums here.
Another BTW, we just released our largest package ever, even bigger than the Top Gun package. Nellis AFB is now available for download from our site. I think you'll like it.
