This is one of the first 747-100's owned by South African Airlines and they agreed to donate it as a static exhibit to this small town. Two of their most senior captains delivered it to this slightly more than 3000 ft strip. As you can see, tracking the centerline was paramount and they made it look like a piece of cake.

Look how they're tracking that centerline. The only time I get that close is when I inadvertently cross it on takeoff or landing
