Sorry for this mistake I keep putting pictures of my new Beech 18 in the free ware forum, I should get up from my desk once in a while go for a walk out side and clear my dozy head... Huh

Any ways here are some pics of my new commercial release coming up for Feb 2010.
Ask as many questions as you would like I will answer them all. I have sent in an announcement to  some of the major sites explaining things clearly so hopefully it will get posted soon.

Will it be a true native FSX/SP2 model?

In the down load there are two versions of the Beech 18, one for fs9 and one for fsx.
The fsx model needed to be heavily modified to handle every thing fsx dose, but it wont go the other way to fs9.
Where fs9 models can  be made to work well in fsx, fsx models on the other hand really don't like fs9. For the fsx model the air model and gauges and spectrum alphas and animations were among the many things that had to be done differently to make them work properly, also the game engine renders the sounds a little bit different, on a lower end sound system its not to noticeable, but on a high end system it is picked up.

I feel that the fs9 version is what will be used by a far stronger percentage of the ones that do take the Beech 18. But out of courtesy I am putting out a fsx version as well. It means a ton of work more, but what the heck.
Even for the  $7.00 asking price I felt the need to do it.

Very nice Tom...very nice... Wink

Going to send you a P.M..... Smiley

Now have you thought about these several things?

Your Beech 18 as:
-CT-128 Expeditor (C45) in Royal Canadian Air Force Livery
-RCAF Livery with wheel/skis
-RCAF Livery on Amphibious Floats
-several Canadian Airlines like Austin Airways out of Timmins, Ontario, and Air Dale along with several other Canadian Operators

Now how about:

A  Pratt & Whitney R1340 radial engine DeHavilland of Canada DHC-3 Otter
-RCAF livery with wheels, wheel/skis, amphibious floats
-Austin Airways, Air Dale and whatever other Canadian Airline Operators that used this fabulous utility aircraft
-wheels, floats, wheel/skis, amphibious floats

There are a lot of Turbo Otters and Beavers out there but not a good old fashioned Otter or freeware amphibious Beaver that work well in FSX and whatever those college boys decide to come up with after FSX.

There is a lack of good bush or light utility aircraft on floats, wheel/skis and amphibious floats like the Cessna 180 & 185, the Norseman and a few others that would be nice to see in Canadian livery.

I am sure I am not the only one here that likes to simulate flying the outback or the bush as we call it or would like to see some Royal Canadian Air Force livery.

Hey! Smiley

Its ironic but I'm mainly building bush add ons from now on for fs9 and fsx. With the Beech 17 I want to include some scenery and some wild life on some far out back ponds, have some light beacons line the route to the scenery just like the old days. It just so happens that right after my Beech 17 I'm building a new Norsman with all configurations, ski, float wheel, probably cargo, passenger and corporate interiors modeled all differently. Smiley

Actually the 1st ride and flight I ever took was in a Beech 17 with a real crazy ex military pilot, and old friend of my gramps, scared the bejesus right out of me that old guy HAHA! Cheesy But you know I was hit with
the bug right there and I have never left flying or designing neet planes for flight sim since, now its like 28 years later and I still just love to design great planes and head out the air field for a spin around the local area with friends and it never gets old.
My grampa flew Lancaster's in ww2 so I was always bugging him for new stories and stuff, he told me what he could bare to, but what he told me was real crazy stuff. Those guys literally flew by the seats of their pants... " We were to brave and to desperate" is what my grampa always said. Shot down 5 times the guy just kept going back, incredible . I really miss him.

I will always build add ons for the community and only ask just a small fee to help me with my web site costs. And I will always strive to make my releases as good as any pay ware out there.
I will for sure post  my screens here from now on guys, sorry bout that, just getting used to things around here.
Sure appreciate the reminders and the kind encouraging words.
