Instead of moving all those entries, a huge job for Dave or someone, to the Freeware section, why not just pin the poll at the top and put all the entries into one thread titled by the month and year. This might be as much work, but it would avoid a lot of confusion and difficulty in finding a thread you were following in Freeware. Just a thought.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Can you imagine the madness of trying to comment on one particular shot in that thread?
Not to mention, we had almost 5 pages of entries this month, that would surely create a thread to rival the Immortality thread in the Humor section.
You wouldn't be able to post your pic as an image, due to the thread size limits, and it would make it exceedingly difficult for the judges to sift through it all to find our picks.

I just thought it might be better to avoid cluttering up Freeware with all those posts at one time. I still think my original idea is good in theory. It just needs a better way of doing it. And I surely would not want to make it more difficult for the judges. I was keenly aware of the volume of entries this time. Many were by new members or old members that rarely post screenshots. I don't think we can complain of lack of participation.

A little late comment, but it's mess time again
How about making a sub-category for all the competition entries?
It's quite difficult finding a specific none contest entry post in the Freeware section, or to continue a discussion regarding a certain screenshot, so moving all entries to a sub-forum might be the easiest way to have different topics for every screenshot, saving all screenshots after the competition ends (and not just deleting them) and not making the freeware section messy.

What I meant was that the freeware forum is now really messy - it would be great if you could move all entries to a sub forum of freeware screenshot, so that the freeware forum won't get messy every month.
