Did you even bother to read the post!!!!????? Smiley Smiley Smiley  Just kidding.
Thank you Hagar, I think that very much clears up some of the misunderstandings about what actually constitutes a "visit" to the support forums.  I'm nominating you for the Nobel Peace Prize, just so you know

SOmetimes what we write (and I'm including myself) is not as clear as what we're thinking, so these misdunderstandings happen.

PS.. I second the nomination.

Ok, so all is civil now...However, I did actually sign up and locate the super duper hidden forum for the twin C on Eaglesoft.  There have only been around ~250 forum posts ever made concerning this aircraft over the past several years, no doubt because it is tucked away.  At any rate, I must have a unique way of p*ssing people off, because their guy basically said, to paraphrase "our sound uses the cone technology for FSX and sounds great, could be your drivers...etc"  (in other words, get lost, you bugger boy Smiley)
Well, Skoker, thanks for your generous offer to modify my .wavs for me;  But I think the most painless solution to get the engine volume I want is to just turn the volume knob up, like the one guy above said.  (The neighbors will think their smoke detector has gone off when the audio marker beacon sounds, or that the roof is being wrenched off when the gear goes down...)

Such a nice fellow like you?  I'm apalled!!!  Smiley

IT takes a while to "get known" and accept you for the lovable, abrasive fellow that you can be....

(Of course, the corollary is, 'I don't think I want to see him REALLY angry!' )

Note to self:  Snippy can get snappy, so exchange slaps with him until you both realize the other likes it!..

First of all, me, fly a tubeliner?  them's fighting words!!

My idea of a large airliner is a DC-3!

In the time period that I like to fly in, Heathrow wasn't even a playground....  Croydon  - now that's an airport!

Pm me and I'll do it.  I am a sound engineer ya kno...  Smiley

"Sound engineer" as in you work with actual sounds?  Because otherwise, a sound (as in mentally) engineer is an oxymoron - there ain't no such thing!  You have to be nuts to be an engineer!!!

Well you know what I mean, I make and edit sound sets.  Increasing the sound level involves just moving a few points really.  A 5 minute job. Wink

Hey Skoker, and anyone else who may care (not that I'm expecting anyone does)...while working this, I uncovered another, possibly related, possibly not problem with my sound.  I have opened up another thread on the main FSX forum, and could use some people that know their stuff.  This sounds like a really technical one.  God I hate FSX!
