In my ongoing battle with this and that, I benchmark tested my computer with both the Passmark and 3DMark06 programs. Results 3DMark 12246/SM 2.0 5590/SM 3.0 6087/CPU score 2561
PassMark (Intel E6750 baseline) Overall +13%/CPU +10%/2D graphics -118%/3D graphics -489%/Memory +17%/HDD +41% Another video card does equally poorly in the same areas on the same motherboard. The results shown surprisingly still allow default FSX to run smoothly at medium settings. The motherboard has onboard graphics which are supposedly automatically switched/disabled but I'm wondering. Does anyone recognize the problem?
Intel 2 core E6300/Biostar GE31E-M7/EVGA8800GTS/Antec 650W.

I won't be of any help that's for sure, but I know these guys will be.

I am not advertising for them, I joined here and there are lots of very knowledgeable people (not saying that anyone here is.) This should probably be your last resort if no one knows on this site. But they are very good with this stuff. And are usually fast to reply.

Phoenix Coyotes fan in Michigan. Yeeeaah booii.

Almost lost track of the forums I've joined looking for an answer. The product support people (Evga and Biostar) want to help but it's slow. Just registered with your recommended forum so maybe I'll get lucky.

Sorry - thought everyone was familiar and bored out of their skull with this. What led to the above benchmark numbers is an 8800GTS card that seemed to faint - those graphics numbers show that. The question is did it faint because the card is sick or because the motherboard quit recognizing the card and we're running with just onboard graphics. FS9 dropped from 50+ to less than 10 fps.
