Yes it is. Lots of guys tried Imron either after a recover or just fresh paint but it requires much more prep than butyrate dope and doesn't like super cold temps. Very difficult to patch but, initially, looks just like your Maule.

It also does not have the 'aroma' or 'effect' of dope. Maybe I've 'inhaled' it one time too many from watching my Dad build RC aircraft. Ya think? Roll Eyes

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.
