Anything done to a shot after it is taken, except resizing and cropping, is not allowed.

After looking at your last round shot, I'd say it was more of a time of day issue. If you had the sun coming from the opposite direction, it would have lit the people up, instead of being to their back and shadowing them. The rest of the shot looks great brightness wise.

I'd say it is, as long as it's a 'mountainous' one, and not some hole in the ground spitting lava.

I was under the impression cropping was not allowed either. And was just about to question that because the rules above say 1024 x 768 x 150 kb and my screen size is 1280 x 1024 which yields a resized only shot to 1024 x 819. This would mean, IF cropping was not allowed, there is no way I could enter a legal shot. I either have to crop or enter it at 1024 x 819. So I guess you already answered my question.

Somebody has a looooong memory.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.
