Seems like just lately I've had to login to the forums, besides the initial login, every time and then it screws up my password.  By the time I finally get on, I've forgotten anything I might have wanted to say - probably a good deal.

Once you're in there's no need to log out - unless you already tried that.

The initial automated login, where you simply hit 'OK' works fine.  It's the secondary login to access forum topics that's the problem.  Other than the inconvenience (retiree talk) of having to sign in every time, it enters a different password then sends me back to square one.

Hmmm. Not quite sure what you mean by secondary login. You should only need to log in to the forum once in any session.

I always type my User name & password in the boxes to log in like so:

...

Click on the Login button & I'm logged in until I choose to log out. As I said before, there's no need to log out when you leave the forum. Then you should be already logged in the next time you visit.

Does that make any sort of sense?

PS. The forum is completely separate from the main site.

That's the one I call the secondary log-in.  The first is a smaller square which appears immediately after SimV is found on the net.  My user name and password are already in place - all that's required is 'OK'.  After selecting 'Forums' from the menu, I can look but not post 'til I log in again as shown in your previous.

You are logging into both the Simviation Express Members area as well as the forums.

If you select 'for keeps' in the forums (like Hagar suggested)  and don't 'log out' you won't have to log in each time.

The express member site is a completely different system, open only to members and requires separate login.
