I'd be well up for this. I;d suggest the december dates just so we can get things organised with plenty on time....the others are less than 2 weeks away
If I can make the arranged date you can sign me up provisionally for my traditional default extra 300 display, a Typhoon display and possibly the vBBMF could be resurrected (including the glorious return of XH558
)
I'd go FS9 just to get minimum stuttering (FSX still runs a bit jumpy if there's lots of aircraft about, even on i7 with GTX 285
)

I could custom build an airport for the show if you want. Just tell me where to put it. It will go much faster the the SimV Neighborhoods because I won't be learning every step of the way. And with the new ADE9X, and can make an FSX and FS9 Version. Just an idea.
Also, if you need someone to schedule events, etc, I could do that.

I'll put all of these details in a nicer, easier to read format once everything is ironed out, but just for now read all of the following.
I think we'll go with Edwards AFB in the US if that is ok with everyone.
At this point in time we'll scratch the November dates and just focus on the December ones. Time is not definite yet, but will probably be 2pm US Eastern.
The "paper airplane" sounds like a good choice for a spectator aircraft.
For performing aircraft, those of you that want to use the default Extra 300 may want to take a look at the FFS one here in the SimV library. That way people with both sims see the exact same thing.
Performances will go one at a time unless there is a team/formation display.
If a user would rather prep for the performance instead of sit and watch others before they are on, they can use and circle north of Edwards AF Auxiliary North Base. This is not suggested, but I'll leave the option open for convenience.
I'm sure everyone here will be courteous, but just as a general rule, no being disruptive while the airshow is running or you'll be warned once, then booted.
When choosing your planes to use, remember that we have users from both FS2004 and FSX attending.
If anybody wishes to act in an announcer capacity on Teamspeak, say so.
NOTE: READ THE STICKIED TOPICS AT THE TOP OF THIS MULTIPLAYER FORUM SO YOUR PORTS ARE SET CORRECTLY!

http://205.252.250.26/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1148901173
Beyond regarding the above, I would like participants to post all necessary links to their aircraft AND links to any repaints that they will be using. Of course this means that any addon aircraft used must be FREEWARE.
Participants should specify what they intend on doing with their aircraft during the show.
Participants should specify how long they wish to perform, and I will work out an average time that each person has the stage once I get a general idea of how long people want to go. (Example: average ends up meaning that everyone is on stage for 3 minutes each or something.)
Unless there is a major real world event or technical difficulties that make it hard for the majority of people to show up, the event will NOT be rescheduled after the final date and time is decided.
Other notes:
Weather settings: clear skies, zero wind, at least 10 miles visibility.
Simviation server.
Chat box and Teamspeak will be available. Try to refrain from communicating while a performer is performing.
I suggest using FSRecorder for monitoring this performance with maximum viewing angle flexibility.

I think that the spectator airplane should just be default. Like the Cessna 172. One less download.
And I am trying to figure out what aircraft I will fly. I am thinking about the Sikorsky S-51 I have. I got the source files that I can export for FSX, which is way better than the FS2002 model. It will be this helicopter, or I will use the FSX Bell 47 or Nemeth FS2004 MD 500E. Which ever I use will have a special paint job just for the airshow.

Please remember that your aircraft choice must work in both sims, and all files must be available to all users.

I'll make sure the S-51 model is also there for 2004 with the same paint job.

I'd definately be up for this, as always i'd fly something like the default Extra 300 or Beech Baron (doing baronabitics).
Possibly a flypast in a Avro Vulcan too.....

Remember that the "Paper Aeroplane" doesn't make any annoying noises when it is parked....and its low polygon count doesn't hog the Multiplayer Bandwidth, slowing everything down, and also eliminates any possible "Stutter and Judder" in the screen display, especially for low specification computers....and Dial-up Users....

P.P.S....also, remember that that special, User-designed/modified textures, paint jobs, effects, etc, will not appear to other Pilots in the Sim!

Are you sure you want to use Edwards? There's a lot of stuff (hangars, static planes, etc.) there that will decrease performance.

Princess Juliana Intl is really easy on my computer. I don't get much stuttering. There isn't a taxiway and not very good parking.

Turn down the autogen. Are you there to watch planes, or buildings and trees?
Other than the buildings, it's several thousand acres of empty desert, nothing to block the view, and they both line up in both sims.
That is the single most important factor when mixing FSX & FS9 online for an airshow. If the airfields don't line up well, it will be downhill from there.
If we don't use Edwards, we do need to pick somewhere in relatively flat, open, featureless terrain, that will line up in both sims.
Maybe on an Island somewhere? Johnson Atoll would be a good one.

Dobbins AFB (KMGE) doesn't have that many objects, even with the scenery pack I downloaded here on simv.
I might enter, depending what aircraft i can find that works on both.
Are we allowed to edit our cfg files to increase performance on our planes like the real air show pilots do ?
EDIT and does the Bingio FSX package show as the bingo fs2004 package?
