Hi there aviators! I have lost disk four, FS2004, which of course has to be in  the dvd drive to fly. I do not like having to buy a whole new flight sim. if I can help it. I have also FSX but I like the old FS2004 a lot.Anyone with good clues. Can I find disk four somewhere? I have looked but no luck.
P.S. I installed a new cd rom, threw old one in bin, guess where disk four was?

I assume your disk 4 was either in the 2nd CD drive you didn't look in or the actual case and just over looked it. Either way, sounds like you're flying again.

Yogi...

I assume that you are using FS 2004?

I think that the VOZ 1.8 Scenery you refer to, is for FSX only!... Roll Eyes...!

..its probably looking for the "FSX" Directory...which you may not have?

Paul...G-BPLF..FS 2004...and VOZ for FS 2004... Wink...!

VOZ 1.8 is for FS9, not FSX.

Sounds like you have a corrupt registry entry. VOZ needs this to work properly.

Go to - http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=library and get the registry repair tool.

Run it and then try to install VOZ.

VOZ, and Glacier Bay, are the best freeware available for FS9, IMO.

cheers,
Joe

There is no such thing as a VOZ site, been gone for about a year.

It would be interesting to know where VOZ (including all the wonderful Koorbygen buildings) can now be downloaded for all the many FS 2004 Users.

The original source for FS 2004 was "Vista-Australis" (Colours of the Great South Land).

Fortunately, I have all my VOZ FS 2004 versions saved on CD's for re-installation when necessary.

"VOZ" now seems to be only available for FSX Users... Angry...!

VOZ for FS 2004 (free) gives you selected variations in the Ground Texture colours, and includes the gorgeous Koorbygen replacement Buildings... Kiss...!

VOZ Australis seems to have abandoned we dedicated FS 2004 Enthusiasts!... Cry...!

Paul...G-BPLF...FS 2004...FS Nav...VOZ 1.8...Wink...!

P.S. I use the VOZ textures (colours) for my regular Californian scenery Smiley...!

OZx is still around.  Not as prevalent as they once were, maybe, but still here.

Here is their download page, with everything we love from them : http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?app=downloads&showcat=16&s=cc57be68cd15e12f1f...

OZx/VOZ = FS9

Orbx/FTX = FSX

Same group, different products.  Wink
