Great link, awesome photos. Thanks for sharing.  Smiley
But it's a shame they did not show the 'business' end of Spooky.  Grin
And I love how the military thinks of everything, like 'REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT'.
But my favorite is the 'FRONT TOWARD ENEMY' on a Claymore.  Grin
Love the livery on the U2, might have to try to duplicate that.  Smiley

The best I've seen are petrol bombs and other small explosives pre-laid into the ground. They do that at a good number of airshows here in the UK. Still quite impressive looking, but a real bomb drop would be so much cooler.

I shall give those photos a check  Cool

I imagine these are all air show pyrotechnics. http://www.blastards.com/
I don't think they would be allowed to drop real bombs even at an air show in Texas. Tongue

We might not have anything quite as spectacular in the UK but last season's RAF Role Demo used similar effects. Also the RAFA Show at Shoreham.

Yeah I saw the RAF Role Demo at Southport and it was quite impressive. When the Apache came along they fired off smaller explosives in the sand to immitate the guns shooting at the floor.

I didn't know that they had companies set up just for airshow pyrotechnics, but I suppose it makes sense.
