Every year, I plan to do something graphic for St. Patrick's Day. And every year, it slips up on me. Well next year, I'll be ready.
Roy's suggestion of a rainbow on The Wiz and the colors I used for it gave me another idea. Thanks Roy.  Grin

Very crisp!  Are you using 2048 sized BMP's?

I don't think I've ever even looked at the size until you asked the question. And I only looked at this one. It's 1024. Does it make a difference?

On detail, yes.  I'm just curious because your details, small graphics, always look so sharp and crisp.  I use Paint Shop Pro, and I'm beginning to wonder if I should turn the anti-aliasing off since it blurs things like lettering for small details like the "swoosh" around the "Maule" on the wing tips, or the lettering on my "Stingray" where it says "Stingray 06" behind the cockpit.  I think some of that may be due to the rendering of the BMP itself, since there's apparently some scaleing done for some parts of the BMP when the texture is applied to the model for rendering by the software.  An example would be the landing light "reflector" in the N-1 BMP for the main body.  If the landing light was displayed at the same scale as the fusalage, it'd be the size of a '50's style hubcap fom a Cadillac, but as rendered, it looks like it'd only be about four inches or so in diameter.

Good morning all... Smiley

Having a tad bit of the old Irish in me I got to say I like the livery...nope...I love it... Smiley    Wink

Now me lad do you think you could find us someone to do us an amphibious radial engine DeHavilland Otter and Beaver and then do them in that livery?  AND if it is not too much to ask how about seeing them in the wheel/ski configuration.

Now Christmas is just around the corner "patchz" and what a wonderful Christmas present they would make.   Wink   Smiley

Again looks good fine sir:    Wink

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

They came with it. The plane looks like the one from Nor-Cal Prop Club. Download it here. (FSX)

Hmm, interesting. I don't really have any idea as to how or why I get these results, unless it is simply beginners luck. And you obviously know more about the processes involved than I. I think I only know enough to be dangerous.  Grin

Thanks Doug. I would be happy to try, though all my repaints don't turn out well. I have the Otter and maybe a Beaver I could use. At least I have plenty of time before Christmas.  Grin

Edited:
I apologize Doug. I did not read your post well enough. I don't know anyone that designs/builds but Eugene Heyart put out a pretty good radial Otter on floats. I can attempt to do it in this livery. I also have a float Beaver that I might be able to paint. Unfortunately, I have been unable to find a decent wheeled Beaver, let alone one on skis. I'll let you know something in a day or two. Cheers.
