Post your desktops!
http://www.simviation.com/yabbuploads/stkdesk.jpg
Included in the image is my usually auto-hidden task bar so you guys can see the nice, free, black theme that I found online for XP. It is a Microsoft-signed, unreleased theme available here. I love it!

This is probably the cleanest desktops I've had in a long while.
Usually there are just a few columns of blank icons, but this time there are only a few columns with anything at all.
I love the background image. I used to have a background image like
This One
. It is called Luminal Stasis if I remember right. The version I had was 1600 wide though.

My current desktop-both screens,(changes weekly)
http://www.simviation.com/yabbuploads/SG_FS9_xv9t3r1.jpg
I use a program called Object Dock to keep all of the icons & task bar hidden off screen until I need them, I don't like a messy desktop.

Since putting that background up, I have had no crashes, far fewer freezes and generally much better performance. She is here to stay
