Hopefully this will be accepted since it is not a combat-oriented force but is still a branch of the US Military.

The US Coast Guard has lost a number of personnel at home and abroad while striving to protect and assist those in perilous situations. They have been present on the landing craft of World War II, and more recently have been seen in the skies above New Orleans saving hundreds of individuals from an unfortunate fate. There have been a number of high-profile accidents over the last couple of years involving USCG aircraft, and I hope that we can remember those crew members that have died serving their country, even if it is not in a combat capacity.

WOW!  Shocked Shocked Ok, no use entering now. Sean's got this one all wrapped up!

A fitting tribute there, being that just about 2 weeks ago a Coast Guard C-130 collided with a Marine AH-1 off the coast of San Diego.

It's not much of a composite, but I still think it turned out ok. The original image has an HH-65 where I put the cut-out FS model in. I also added the shield and the text. I took a screenshot of the FS model once I figured out the viewing angle, and then cut it out and overlayed it above the helicopter in the original picture, while meant a lot of resizing, erasing, color matching/editing, and general tweaking to the whole image.

Here are the source images that I used:

These shots are your tribute to all the Servicemen and women who have lived, or died for their country, you can post whatever shot you deem most fitting.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Why We Fight!

For all those 26,000 men who fought for Iwo Jima and lost their lives to help other service men.

Enjoy and good luck.
