What do you think of it?
Personally, I think the platform used is wrong for the year they tried to emulate. If they had done more of the 1969 look instead, they may have hit it right, this looks like a 1974 T/A went on a serious eating binge. Looks cool from some angles, but lardy from most.
I'd still own one though. Black/w blue graphics please.

I'm not a huge fan on this recent remake of old muscle car thing that is going around. Recreating the Mustang worked out pretty well, and I have come to like the new Stangs, but the Challenger/Camaro remakes are just too much. If you ask me, this is why Ford remained solvent while Chrysler and GM went bankrupt.

Top spec Pontiacs were Holdens... so why not slap yet another bodykit on the Challenger. its all the same GM stuff underneath anyway

The Challenger is a Chrysler product.

I threw up a little when I saw that.
I saw a new camaro in my town speed away from a stoplight, then try to negotiate a right hand turn about 50 yards later. The car was grey and the only thing that came to mind was "thats about how I would expect an elephant to corner."

American cars and cornering are two things that dont go together. There are no roads up there that demand European handling.
But with the coming stream of euro compacts they might learn how to do it... just hope they dont kill the suspension, especially on the Abarth 500 SS

I'm really hoping for some good things from that merger. And it will be nice to see Alpha Romeo make a return here. Sadly, many drivers here prefer the soft and cushy feel to the nice tight sporty side of things.

I think that what we call a 'stiff ride' in a car review counts as 'no suspension at all' in one in the states.
If that Abarth 500 SS manages to get through emission tests unhurt, you get 160hp on a 800 kilo car... now that's something nice to play with.
And you might get the Alfa 159 wagon too... thats one of the best looking cars on the road today
