From the instructions
Quote:
You might already have a folder called "texture" if you do you will have to rename it. This will affect the paint its calling so don't forget to update the aircraft.cfg!

So if you already have a folder named "texture" rename it something like "texture.airtran", then open the "aircraft.cfg" and put "airtran" in the texture line:

aircraft.cfg Quote:
[fltsim.0]
title=Project Opensky - B737-700 AirTran
sim=OSBoeing737-700w
model=w
panel=
sound=
texture=
airtran

ui_manufacturer=Boeing
ui_type=737-700 [Posky]
ui_variation=AirTran

Then you can copy the default 737 texture file into your POSKY 737 file.

Scratch all of what I said I got it to work, problem is, My VC camera view is slightly above the cockpit. I can look down through the eyebrow window into the cockpit.

How do I lower the perspective to be inside the cockpit?

Used the 737-800 VC model on a 737-700.

The aircraft.cfg has a [Views] paragraph, with an 'Eyepoint' line.  The three numbers are in feet, and each set of numbers means fore/aft ..  right/left .. up/down.

ok so thanks for that it helped! but i seem to be having an issue with how far back i start. I hit ctrl + backspc to move it forward. to where I am actually sitting in the seat.

Which one of those numbers moves me forward?

Plane is 737-700

This is what I see right now as settings,

[Views]
eyepoint=48.2, -1.55, 1.9   //(feet) longitudinal, lateral, vertical distance from reference datum

Increase the value of the first number to move the viewpoint forward. The numbers are longitudinal (forward and backward), lateral (left and right), and vertical (up and down), respectively.

What would you suggest I enter to move it forward enough. Everytime I play with it I get way outside the aircraft.

Really the only thing to do is experiment.

For the first number, increase the value to move the viewpoint forward, decrease to move it backward.

For the second number, increase the value to move the viewpoint right, decrease to move it left.

For the third number, increase the value to move the viewpoint upward, decrease to move it downward.

Edited:
Also, it's OK to use negative values.

Got it. Successfully integrated the VC with Opensky's Airtran 737-700NG I have it in a compressed folder so if you know anyone that needs it I can upload or email it.

I am sure you can use any textures other than Airtran. Thats just my favorite choice airline.

I have did three test flights. All successful. Just need to find the seatbelt and no smoking sounds. They dont sound off when I flip them.

Any help on that?

Thanks to all that have helped me!
