I just installed the Cricri in my duplicate install of FS9, the one with VOZ, and was trying it out. On maiden flights, I usually just use the default, SeaTac and don't bother with weather. It turned out to be a fun little aircraft so I just did some exploring. I made it all the way to Victoria Intl. and saw some flashing lights on the south side of the field that did not appear to be part of the airport system. The car standing on it's nose was spinning like a top. It's amazing what VOZ does.

...

This area is not even paved without VOZ running.

Yup, empty cockpits always seem a bit "creepy" in an non-creepy sort of way.

But looking at that plane, I can only think, "Somewhere, two lawn mowers are missing their engines."   Cheesy

I used to work on SIMNET* at Ft. Benning in the early '90's, which was a networked tank and AFV simulation system.  Occasionally we had terrain glitches where the tanks would suddenly pitch nose down and start spinning like that.  They looked like corks trying to go down a drain.

My thoughts were more RC, biiiiiiiiigggg RC  Cheesy Grin
which is exactly what I thought the first time I saw a video of this thing.
But I also thought, "I gotta get me one of these," so when I saw it on a download page..... Wink

What hurts, is I don't have sound right now. I picked up a bug the other day and ended up having to download the updates for AVG and Ad-Aware before I could get rid of it. It hijacked my Display Properties and sent me back to the stone age, resolution wise, plus put a desktop bkg up telling me my system had crashed due to a Critical Error. Of course there was a link to download the fix. If I were a hacker.......
When all was said and done, I had no sound. I still haven't found the problem. Lemme tell you, FS is nowhere near as much fun without sound.  Angry Sad

Not surprising as it was designed by an aeromodeller. The first prototype was powered by two chainsaw engines.

Full-sized aeroplanes are just big models. Wink
