Five years ago I bought a Logitech Wingman Force 3D. It's served me VERY well, but the response isn't what it used to be. (you know, having to jam it on it's side several time to get any response?) I am wondering what quality joysticks are on the market now that won't break the bank.

Thanks for any advice,

What sort of functions and features are you looking for in a new joystick? Throttle(s), rudder, etc.
Any particular price range?

I personally have the Saitek ST290 Pro, ($20 @ Walmart).... but I also have my $120 Saitek X52 that I love with my jumbo jets.   ... oh, and ive had my $20 ST290 Pro now for about 5-6 years, have used it with FS2004, X, Mechwarrior 4.. and a few other games and it has not messed up 1 time.  works just like it did 5-6 years ago straight out of the box.

if and when I get the money, I WILL BE investing in the Saitek Pro Flight "controllers".... Stick and Yoke; including ALL the gauges that go with them, along with the Microphone headset. ::: http://saitek.com/uk/prod/proflight.htm
