I just started adding planes and misc. to Flight Simulator. I downloaded and installed the Aircraft Carrier (Alpha Carrier). Can somebody please tell me where to put that folder? Does it go in Misc, Boats, Scenery, or what? I put it in Planes and Boats, and it loaded up in the sky like a plane and crashed into the water
Please help. Also is it true that it will only work in multiplayer mode... Thanks

It will only work in multiplayer mode. Right after they first came out with this I asked if it would ever be available for single player, I posted the question over at Flight Sim Nation and never got an answer so I assume that the answer was no. Real shame, this is one heck of a nice looking carrier.
As far as why it loads in the sky I can not help you, maybe someone else will chime in.
Anyway if you want a great carrier for single player go here

you can use the FSN Alpha Carrier in both single player and multi-player. just put it in the planes folder not the boats folder. hope that helps.

I have a few boats in my aircraft files. One way around the falling ship syndrome is to set a default flight at sea level. Load your ship on the runway. Pull up your map, click and drag the ship to nearby ocean. Now save your "flight".(don't save it as default) From there you can do what you want with it. You will, however need to load it from saved flights.
Flying with twins is a lot of fun..
