Weather: Real world weather is highly recommended. At the time of posting, Helsinki has a low overcast with low vis and rain. Could be fun if it continues at arrival time.
FS Time: 2:30pm, St. Petersburg local time.
FS Date: Present day and year.
Addon scenery (my purpose for doing this trip, excellent, highly recommended scenery!!!!)
Pulkovo:http://www.ulll.nm.ru/files.html(Just click on the first hyperlink that says (download) on the page, and install like normal) This is nice scenery and the best representation of this airport out there!
Helsinki-Vantaa:http://fisd.fsnordic.net/projects/(Install the main airport, plus the following packages:
FinnClass
FinnTerrain
FISD Library
If you want, you can just put the bgls/textures in the three packs above into the scenery and texture folder of the Helsinki airport addon scenery, rather than having to activate each one.)
Sim:Either FS2004 or FSX. I cannot guarantee scenery compatibility with FSX.
Remarks:If you plan on joining, post here, and post a link to the aircraft + livery(if non default) that you will be using on the trip.
If planning on using real world weather, be familiar with instrument approaches into Helsinki-Vantaa. The weather has a good chance at being poor, with low ceilings. https://ais.fi/ais/eaip/html/efhk.htmThis flight will occur again on Friday, October 23, between 4 and 6pm US eastern. I will post an update as that time approaches.
